BREAKING: Steve Angello fuels speculation over Swedish House Mafia reunion

Steve Angello has today intensified rumours over a potential Swedish House Mafia reunion, by following his former SHM members Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso on social media. The move from Steve, came on Instagram, after he also followed Pharrell Williams – who the trio made iconic 2010 hit ‘One (Your Name)’ with.

Despite distancing himself from reunion speculation in recent years, preferring to go down his own path, with recent releases ‘Rejoice’ and ‘Freedom’, the activity from Angello has caused much speculation, especially with Swedish House Mafia’s official Twitter account being wiped this morning. With over 2,000 previous tweets, many fans are suggesting that such a move marks the move of wiping the slate clean ahead of a new start for the legendary act.

With Ultra Music Festival Miami recently announcing their 2018 line-up ahead of their 20th anniversary this March, their slogan for the festival is to ‘Expect the Unexpected’ with a series of special unannounced guests set to make appearances to mark the landmark occasion. With Steve Angello missing from the Phase One line-up announcement, many die-hard SHM fans are now beginning to get excited over the idea of a potential Swedish House Mafia performance at Ultra 2018, exactly half a decade on from their last ever show, at Ultra 2013.
