It has been another exciting year for Electro music as the sub-genre proves itself once again as a dominating music force in the ever-changing electronic music scene. Now as the end of 2017 is swiftly coming to a close, this years electro house rankings have been published by Beatstats and one Swedish trio has trumped the competition to take the top spot.

They are the masterminds behind ‘Brohouse’ as Swedish artists BROHUG top the electro chart by more than double the points KSMHR secured this year to find himself take second place. Among the top 10, the DJ trio saw off competition from heavyweights including the likes of Skrillex, Jauz, Valentino Khan, and Towloud who took a worthy third place. As well as a published top 100 it is fascinating to see further big named DJs find themselves down the latter such as Nicky Romero at number 53 and Chocolate Puma at number 88.

Both ALOK and Bhaskar has much to celebrate as although the DJs placed 20 and 21 on the top 100 artists, their track ‘Fuego’ proved the best contender to take the number one spot on the top 100 electro tracks list beating out KSHMR’s ‘Invisible Children‘ with TigerlilySikdope‘s banger ‘Snakes’ rounded out the top three. BROHUG’s remix of Alesso‘s ‘Falling‘ and Valentino Khan’s ‘Deep Down low‘ tracks make it into the top 10.

Its also been an enthralling year for record labels who are the backbone behind track releases. Of course, another successful year has seen the dominant Spinnin’ Records clinch the number one spot ahead of Steve Aoki‘s label DIM MAK Records and Tiësto‘s Musical Freedom. Elsewhere OWSLA placed a worthy sixth on the list and Heldeep Records finished just within the top 10.
