With the year’s end nearing, Billboard has released their Hot 100 songs of 2017. As usual, the chart is overflowing with Pop, Hip-Hop and RnB artists such as Ed Sheeran, Drake and Taylor Swift. However, there are always a handful of EDM artists who never fail to make an impact. Artists such as Zedd, Kygo, Calvin Harris and Daft Punk all made this year’s Billboard Hot 100.

In addition to his eclectic Electro House tunes, Zedd composed his fair share of radio-friendly tunes this year. His track ‘Stay‘ with Alessia Cara came in at no. 17, while his other track, ‘Starving‘ featuring Hailee Steinfeld and Grey finished up at the 82nd spot. Incidentally, Kygo and Selena Gomez‘s Pop/Tropical House hit ‘It Ain’t Me‘, ended up at the no. 27 spot.

Calvin Harris also made multiple appearances with his tracks ‘Slide‘ with Frank Ocean & Migos and ‘Feels‘ with Pharrell, Katy Perry and Big Sean. Despite finishing the year at no. 71 and 74 respectively, both songs have gone on to become multi-platinum selling hits. With collaborations seeming to be a great recipe for success, legendary French duo Daft Punk know the formula all too well. The duo, alongside The Weeknd, proved to be a deadly combination. Their tracks ‘Starboy‘ and ‘I Feel It Coming‘ finished the year at no. 20 and 34 respectively.
