At age 28, Nicky Romero has a longer resume than most people his age. While in charge of Protocol Recordings, the Dutchman has toured the world, playing at countless festivals, including Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival. With such tracks as ‘Toulouse‘ and his platinum-selling chart-topper with Avicii, ‘I Could Be The One‘, Romero has prominently made his mark on the EDM scene. A young 22-year-old Nicky Romero introduces himself when he mentions the following:

“I started out as a DJ/Producer 3 and a half years ago. I started working in a small club, playing records from everyone from all kinds of genres. Later on, I started producing and developing my own sound. In 2009, I had my first small club-hit called, ‘My Friend‘ and afterwards, I started remixing for other big artists”.

5 years on and Nicky Romero is still going strong. After teasing an ‘I Could Be The One’ follow-up with Avicii, the Dutchman also unveiled brand-new music on the latest episode of his Protocol Radio show. Romero is also set to play in Switzerland and The Netherlands before he headlines Ultra Miami.
