HIDDN x Rivero – Shadow

When two up and coming producers join forces in the studio, the results are often something special. And that is certainly the case on this occasion, as HIDDN and Rivero team up to bring us ‘Shadow’ exclusively on Tiesto’s Musical Freedom. Having slotting himself into a role of a frequenter at Armada with a steady string of impressive solo releases and collaborations on its Armada Trice imprint, HIDDN has seen ample praise for his tracks to date. For this most recent single, he opts for a much more hard-hitting sound in comparison to his more radio-friendly style that has made his past releases so popular.

Whilst similar, Rivero is another youngster who has been climbing the ranks throughout 2017, having become a regular on Hardwell’s Revealed Recording with tracks such as ‘Wait For The Night’, ‘Otherside’ and ‘Shockwave’ to add to his arsenal of music. Undoubtedly going to go down as one of their biggest releases to date, ‘Shadow’ is a powerful tune with hints of being a main-stage banger right from the very beginning, as both HIDDN and Rivero showcase their production skills at their best. Fast-paced, energetic and lively, the roaring leads synths combine with the growling bassline to create a dubstep vibe with a big room intensity for the first half of the track, before they switch things up into an all-out trap banger as the track nears its conclusion.
