After a hot string of Pop-oriented hits alongside the likes of Selena GomezLil Pump and Khalid, American DJ/Producer Marshmello has announced his return to the EDM world with a new EP.

With songs such as ‘Wolves‘ with Selena Gomez and ‘Silence‘ featuring Khalid amongst the top 20 highest selling iTunes songs in the world in 2017, Marshmello’s popularity skyrocketed after being listed as iTunes’ 3rd highest-selling male artist. With ‘Silence’ peaking at #13 on the global chart, ‘Wolves’ has blown its predecessor out of the water, after the hit song peaked at #1 in just under 6 weeks.

After gaining the permission from the mother of the late Lil Peep, Marshmello recently released the collaboration the two had worked on, not long after the 21-year-old’s passing. While much of Peep’s music incorporates a Trap/Hip-Hop influence, Marshmello boasts the foreboding mid-aughts-emo-intro guitar line for him to sing over before launching into the skyscraper-scale drums that he’s brought to recent collaborations with Migos and his Future flip from last year.

Marshmello on his upcoming EP:

“With all this new music I’m working on a dance EP for my day one mellogang! Don’t think anything has changed, I’m still the same marshmello you fell in love with. Love you all”

While details on the new EP have not yet been disclosed, keep up to date with the latest updates here.
