Tiësto set to return Australia with first solo tour in seven years
Returning to the land down under for the first time in seven long years is the godfather of EDM, Tiësto. Playing 3 exclusive shows in Melbourne and Sydney, he’ll be joined by local support acts Rojdar, Mashd N Kutcher and Calvin Harris‘ protégé, Generik.
Celebrating the release of his new album, ‘Clublife Vol. 5: China‘ Tiësto & co. will kick things off this Saturday, as they take to the iconic Festival Hall in Melbourne, before heading off to the Hordern Pavilion and [V] Island in Sydney on February 9 and 10 respectively.
Tiësto’s Clublife series “is named for places that influence me on a personal level”, hence why his long-awaited return to Australia is only fitting. Ready to deliver a world-class performance, his incredible, dazzling light-show will be accompanied by tracks from his new album such as ‘Harder‘ with KSHMR and Vassy, ‘Scream‘ with John Christian and ‘Boom‘.
When asked about returning to Australia, the Dutchman explained his love for the Aussie crowd.
“It has been far too long since I’ve played for my incredible Australian fans. They definitely know how to party, and that enthusiasm is contagious. I can always feel their electricity behind the booth.”
