One of the most controversial figures within the dance music scene, deadmau5 has divided opinion throughout his years as a producer. His music however, has cemented his position as one of the most influential producers of all-time, with a loyal fanbase around the world. As well as his releases, his live sets are truly something to behold, and each edition of his iconic Cube has been a huge part of his ability to put on an unbelievable show. Recently, the Canadian star took to Twitter to reveal the Cube’s latest edition, Cube 0.5.

Smaller than previous editions, Cube 0.5 is more ideal for touring, and is able to fit snugly in deadmau5’s basement, unlike its predecessors. Previously crowds have been wowed by the original Cube 1.x, Cube 2.0 and Cube 2.1, each of varying sizes, and the different editions have become a trademark for live performances, turning into an integral part of stunning crowds with spectacular visual effects to accompany equally breathtaking tracks. As the smallest Cube so far, Cube 0.5 could be the gateway to enabling deadmau5 to bring the full stage production to even more locations around the world, news which will no doubt be welcomed by his loyal fanbase.
Recently the new Cube was debuted in Utah with the orchestral mix of ‘Strobe’. Take a look at the breathtaking video below.
