DJ Snake announces new track ‘Magenta Riddim’ to drop this Friday
Having not released any new music since ‘A Different Way‘ on September 21 last year, French superstar, DJ Snake is breaking his silence, with the announcement of his upcoming release, ‘Magenta Riddim‘. Judging by the track’s title, the track may very well be driven by smooth percussion and island sounds, however, while details have not yet been disclosed, fans are left to speculate, leaving them very eager to hear the Frenchman’s latest work.
His last release, ‘A Different Way‘ has been quite successful in the 4 short months since its release. Released on Geffen Records, the song was co-written by Ed Sheeran and Lindy Robbins. As a result of the expert help, ‘A Different Way’ reached Gold status in Canada and France, reached #1 on the Belgian charts and peaked at #11 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs.
While the announcement of ‘Magenta Riddim’ is undoubtedly refreshing to hear, it’s not the only thing fans are excited about. The 31-year-old recently announced a collaboration with prestigious clothing brand, Levi‘s. DJ Snake is set to release a clothing line titled “Pardon My French” exclusively in Paris on Saturday, February 24, making it his first collaboration with a clothing brand of this stature.
