Premiere: Marcus Schössow – White Lies

Coming as his first release of 2018, Swedish prodigy Marcus Schössow has treated listeners to a full blown barrage of beautiful melodies, rockin’ beats, and his signature bass line work in brand new single, ‘White Lies’. The track is due to be released on Code Red Music, which is Schössow’s imprint that he started back in 2015. Code Red has been on a hot streak lately, pushing the boundaries of musical creativity further into uncharted territory. ‘White Lies’ comes as a follow-up to Schössow’s epic rendition of ‘Tell Me Why‘. For this next record he takes his talent into a slightly different domain, and the more vibrant pianos and catchy bass line ensure goosebumps throughout.

A cornerstone of the Swedish wizards sound is his unparalleled production talent, which is kicked into high hear for ‘White Lies’. As a role model for many up and coming producers, Schössow made a name for himself in the scene through his top-notch mixing and mastering skills that caught the ear of house legends including Axwell, and many of his marquee releases over the years were released on Axtone Records. He has garnered support from A-list icons such as Armin Van Buuren, Steve Angello, and Pete Tong, and having played some of the most prestigious festivals all over the globe, releasing state-of-the-art music, and now commanding his own record label, Schössow has cemented himself as a force to be reckoned with in the dance music community. The melancholic, nebulous vibes of “White Lies” create a super chilled-out atmosphere that is perfect for nightclubs and beach clubs, and the track could even hold its own on the main stage.
