Premiere: Spinnin’ Sessions 248 – Vicetone

Bringing the hottest tracks and the future hits every week, Spinnin’ Records return with their Spinnin’ Sessions setup to give us a sneak peek of the upcoming releases and current chart-toppers. This week they showcase the incredible talents of Vicetone, a duo that has gone from strength to strength over the last number of years. The Dutch natives first burst onto the scene through their breakthrough single “Harmony“, and since then have been catching the attention of both mainstream and house music fans alike, with their distinctive sound and increasingly catchy tracks.

The 248th edition of Spinnin’ Sessions features music from Oliver Heldens, Showtek, Tujamo and D.O.D, to mention a few, whilst the Talent Pool release of the week is WHOISJODY’s single “Feelings” – a track which caught Spinnin’s attention after pipping fellow demo-submitters to the top of the chart and making them the latest up and coming artist to get their music on the revered label. Whilst equally impressive is this week’s Spotify track, a spine-tingling vocal production entitled “DYSYLM” by Carolina & Sunstars.

With the regular air-time catching on, heads turn to this week’s guest mix from Vicetone. As we could not let this opportunity pass us by so easily, we made sure to catch up with the duo to gain some insight into their current status and what they have in store for the rest of the year. In conversation, below:

What have you been up to lately?

We just finished up a 2 week tour in China! Played some amazing shows and festival in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Ningbo. We got the chance to test out a lot of new songs we have been working on the past few months. This year is going to be a very exciting year for us since we have so much new music lined up to be released!

What did you have in mind for this Guest Mix?

In this guestmix, we’ll be playing 2 brand new songs for you all, one of them is our new single ‘Fix You’, which will be released on Spinnin’. The other is an ID song that we are also VERY excited about! More info about that coming soon. The rest of the mix contains melodic songs that we like! We hope you enjoy the mix and our new IDs.
