Robyn announces brand new album to drop this year
Swedish singer/songwriter Robyn remains one of the most iconic vocalists in the music industry. Having released a number of huge hits over her career, she has also been a major part of the dance music scene due to her releases being remixed by multiple producing icons, including Avicii, Michael Woods, A-Trak, Moby and The Black Madonna. Recently, fans were sent into a frenzy by the news that Robyn has plans to release her first studio album since ‘Body Talk‘ was released in 2010, 18 years ago.
Responding to a fan on her Twitter account, Robyn revealed that her next album is due to drop some time this year, but didn’t give an exact release date. Unsurprisingly, the news provoked a huge response from fans, who have been eagerly awaiting another album, following the positive reception of her previous releases. The upcoming release will no doubt lead to a string of remixes from dance music producers, and Robyn’s vocals have already proven to be an ideal fit for electronic music. While little details are known about the upcoming release, expectations are exceedingly high, but Robyn will undoubtedly provide another exceptional album to add to her ever increasing discography.
