Slushii – There x2 (feat. Marshmello)

As one of the world’s most influential artists in the future bass genre, Slushii has released a number of heartwarming, effervescent releases, building up a loyal global fanbase in the process. His trademark sprightly synths have remained a prominent feature across his releases, and his latest, a collaboration with the mysterious Marshmello, certainly carries those same traits.

‘There x2‘ flawlessly combines the talents of both Marshmello and Slushii, resulting in an uplifting, emotive anthem, lead by heartwarming vocals. The track sees Marshmello return to his core sound, after releasing a number of more commercially oriented anthems with some of the music industry’s leading musicians, including Khalid and Selena Gomez. The move back towards future bass will undoubtedly be welcomed by fans, as the genre remains at the core of his success as an artist. Kicking off 2018 with a bang, ‘There x2’ is clearly a sign of what both artists have to come in 2018, which looks set to be their most successful yet, with both set to perform at the iconic Ultra Music Festival next month.
