APEXAPE – Whiskey & Cola (feat. Carla Monroe)

Unstoppable house duo APEXAPE have had a superb few years, celebrating a number of outstanding releases on a selection of the electronic music industry’s most illustrious labels. With a distinct signature sound characterizing each release, it comes as no surprise that the duo have built a loyal following around the world, and received support from some of the biggest names in the industry. Kickstarting 2018 with their first release of the year, ‘Whiskey & Cola‘, APEXAPE have returned to remind listeners what they are truly made of.

Featuring Carla Monroe, whose vocals were an integral part of iconic 2017 anthem ‘17‘ by MK, the track has a distinct summer vibe with an infectious house rhythm. Monroe’s dark sultry vocals sit effortlessly with the brooding undertones of the track, giving it an atmospheric feel. The addictive rhythm coupled with the infectious melody will no doubt ensure that this track becomes a sensation overnight, and will certainly become an integral feature of live performances this summer.
