DJ Snake is on quite a run lately. Representing the city of Paris, the French DJ and producer had nothing but success over the last couple of years. After the great accomplishment of releasing his first studio album “Encore”, including hits like “Let Me Love You” together with Justin Bieber, in 2016 and the giant success of 2 billion-times-streamed “Lean On” with Major Lazer,  DJ Snake was a headliner at top-notch festivals like Ultra Miami and Tomorrowland.  Still living the dream, the French producer now came up with an unusual tweet, revealing that he is going back to where it all started. People who started listening to DJ Snake in his beginnings will be very happy about the news.

After announcing his first own label Premiere Classe, DJ Snake tweeted an interesting statement, claiming he is back to making “weird club music“. With that said, we can expect back-to-the-roots tracks from the Frenchman soon. Tracks like “Get Low” and “Turn Down For What” definitely shaped and defined the way and sound of DJ Snake, so it is going to be exciting to see what his next release will sound like. DJ Snake himself already gave the first glimpse of his old/new sound with his latest release “Magenta Riddim”.  Fans will be able to enjoy the new tunes of Snake during his performances at major festivals like Ultra Europe or Balaton Sound this summer.

After premiering a new ID at Ultra Music Festival in Miami this year together with fellow “Pardon My French” members Tchami, Malaa, and Mercer, there might be some more collaborations of the French quartet in the pipeline. No one knows exactly what DJ Snake has in store for his upcoming releases but we can be sure it is going to be nothing short of amazing. Welcome back to the “weird” music, Snake!
