The International Music Summit (IMS) officially announced the addition of 69 new speakers at this year’s edition, which will be held from May 23rd to the 25th at the Hard Rock Hotel in Ibiza. The annual music conference, one of the most important throughout the world, will bring together some of the most influential figures in the industry.

The 11th edition of the premiere global conference for business, culture, and education within the electronic music industry will host names such as deadmau5, Seth Troxler, Nastia, Bedouin on the artists’ side, while the management teams of Solomun, Armin Van Buuren and Black Coffee will also make an appearance. Attendees will also be able to hear speakers from the legendary events of Burning Man, Sónar, BPM and the A&Rs of XL Recordings and Toolroom. Some other topics of interest that will be at the forefront of the conference are Blockchain, Drug Testing, Sexual Harassment and Mental Health. The addition of these topics aims at opening a conversation and shine some light on the complex challenges and emerging opportunities for the future of music.

The three-day platform can be described as a sort of “TED Talk” for the music professionals and is one of the most important weekends of the year to witness future initiatives and developments that shape up the positive changes within the electronic music industry. IMS’s Co-Founder, Pete Tong, has always had a vision towards the future, both for the conference and the electronic music community. As he’s preparing for this 11th year, he stated that:

“It’s vital for IMS Ibiza to assemble the best and brightest minds in the industry to debate the issues that affect us most and to discuss routes to progress and succeed. I’m really proud to announce our latest wave of speakers, who represent all sides of the electronic music industry, from accomplished leaders who bring a wealth of experience through to the new generation who bring fresh ideas and thinking to push our genre forwards.”
