Protocol Recordings founder Nicky Romero once again proved why he’s one of the industry’s elite with an incredible set on Ultra Miami’s mainstage over the weekend. Having revealed 4 new ID’s (including a brand-new Florian Picasso track), Romero flaunted his incredible collection of festival-oriented bangers, much to the crowd’s sheer delight.

The Dutchman started off with his energy-filled collaboration with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, ‘Here We Go‘ combined with the acapella from The Chemical Brothers‘ famous track ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl‘.  He would soon follow with crowd favourite tracks such as Jauz and Ephwurd‘s ever-popular, ‘Rock The Party‘, ‘Novell‘, ‘Ready 2 Rumble‘ and his iconic Avicii collaboration, ‘I Could Be The One‘, to which the crowd sang along to with great passion.

While he flew the Progressive House flag with pride, Romero incorporated other genres into his set, catering to the Bass House and Dubstep fans in the audience with tracks such as John Christian & VAVO‘s, ‘How Low‘, Sagan‘s ‘We Are Lost‘ and MAKJ‘s remix of Fatman Scoop & Crooklyn Clan’s famous crowd-favourite, ‘Be Faithful‘ mashed up with Rick Ross’ popular vocal from his Skrillex collaboration, ‘Purple Lamborghini‘.

Having made a name for himself with his Progressive House tunes, the 29-year-old put on a spectacularly diverse show for his Miami fans.
