Oliver Heldens previews new single on Instagram LIVE

Surprising fans with an impromptu live broadcast on his Instagram page, Dutch DJ and producer Oliver Heldens has revealed details for a new track, which he calls ‘King Kong’, with the HELDEEP head honcho insisting that the production would be “released soon.”

Guiding his supporters through a studio session in which the Rotterdam-born artist also played out a new hardstyle track, and a bass-heavy record which he asked fans to rate “from 1 to Gecko (10)”, Oliver premiered the final version of ‘King Kong’, much to the delight of fans who had heard the track played out in his Creamfields and Ibiza sets last summer, with one fan begging Heldens to:

“Release this masterpiece!”

The track, which was originally fused with the ‘The Sound of Disco, Berlin, San Francisco’ vocals of ‘Play That Beat’ during live performances, has been met with widespread acclaim across social media, though it looks like HI-LO himself is favouring a strictly instrumental version for the official release (initially, anyway).
