Porter Robinson‘s alter ego Virtual Self has been causing a stir in the electronic music industry ever since the first Virtual Self EP dropped last year. While each and every track from the EP received a positive reception, one stood out as the most popular, racking up almost 2 million Spotify plays. ‘Ghost Voices‘ warmed listeners hearts through its addictive rhythm and intoxicating melody, and the track has now been brought to life in a stunning music video.

In November, Porter Robinson unveiled the first release from his new side project Virtual Self, a 5 track EP, each track completely unique from the others. Spanning a number of the electronic music sub genres, the EP was a forward-thinking piece of art, showcasing Porter Robinson’s talents to the world.

Technology focused, the video includes a number of dramatic shots, with flickering imagery throughout. The video replicates the brooding, atmospheric mood of the track, focusing on a number of television screens and holographic characters. Standing out from your typical music video, it clearly has a complex meaning behind it, and is incredibly thought provoking from start to finish.
