Hailing from the sunny state of California, rising talent AL Sharif has been delivering music in both quality and quantity as of late. With releases signed to both Kryder’s Sosumi Records and Tom Staar’s Staar Traxx catching the attention of some of the biggest names in the scene, his latest original entitled ‘Work‘ sees him sign to KIDS Records Foundation. The label enables artists to help the world by donating profits from each release on the label to UNICEF. Sharif amassed an impressive resume with his growing catalogue of hits, gaining support from the likes of Dada Life, W&W, Promise Land and Ummet Ozcan in the process.
As is most of the Californian’s previous work, ‘Work’ is an immaculately produced, hard-hitting tribal track that packs a serious groove. Creating atmosphere and building tension in the opening half of the track, the producer manages to create an uplifting, energetic vibe for the second half. With its infectious beat and lively drums, this record is certainly worth a listen and should give AL Sharif more recognition for his remarkable work. Overall, AL Sharif has crafted a track that you will be sure to have on repeat for the moment you listen to it.
