Axtone teases new music from Swedish House Mafia’s historic Ultra Music Festival set

Swedish Record label Axtone Records recently created quite a buzz by posting a short teaser clip that contained little snippets of Swedish House Mafias’ Ultra Music Festival set in March. This foreshadowing led to lots of speculation amongst fans as to what the teaser clip means. The date 27.04.18 was posted along with the fuzzy, chopped up clip. Whatever this post means, one thing is for sure, the 27th of April is going to be a massive day for fans of Axtone and the SHM. With Steve Angello dropping his sophomore concept album “Human“, and now Axtone Records planning for something big as well, we will be holding our breath.

The main hypothesis for explaining Axtone Records recent teaser video is that they will be premiering or to some degree unveiling new music coming from the DJ duo Magnificence. The 5 year reunion show from SHM infused new energy into the Progressive House scene. 5 years without the godfathers of Progressive House has really left some fans askew. With the whirlwind of edits and unreleased tunes played during their set, the small bits from the video truly stand out. The track is rumoured to be “Cobra“. This track was mashed up with Leave The World Behind (Daddy’s Groove Magic Island Rework).

Axtone Records has hinted that there will be something to do with the track, at least that’s what we speculate…
