The year 2018 has been an exceptionally great year so far for iconic Trance act Above & Beyond. The British trio released their masterpiece album ‘Common Ground’ in January, which entered the Billboard Top 200 album chart at number 3, and kicked off their North-American tour right around that same time. Besides the new album and their US tour, Tony McGuinness, Jono Grant and Paavo Siljamäki have been working on something completely different, the documentary ‘Above & Beyond Acoustic: Giving Up The Day Job’ .

The behind-the-scenes documentary follows Above & Beyond’s journey from Abbey Road Studios, through to their shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall, the Sydney Opera House and finally the Hollywood Bowl. It was directed by award-winning directors Paul Dugdale and Myles Desenberg, who have also worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran and The Rolling Stones. The documentary shows the group while touring a small number of theaters in North America, before the global theatrical expansion will kick off next week (April 11th). Above & Beyond will be present on April 12 at Odeon’s Covent Garden in London for the global premiere, where they are set to take part in a very special Q&A.

If you didn’t have a chance yet to catch ‘Above & Beyond Acoustic: Giving Up The Day Job’, you’re in luck today, because the Anjunabeats trio has just announced that the documentary will be available through iTunes as of April 17th. The iTunes release is a dual feature film package, which will not just include the documentary, but also the full-length concert film of the trio’s sold-out Hollywood Bowl show as an added iTunes Extra.
