RESISTANCE announces first list of artists for Mexico City premiere

Building an internationally renowned brand is not easy. Especially when the market is so competitive as it is for music festivals. One festival brand that definitely managed to establish itself is Ultra Music Festival. Started in Miami, the massive festival just celebrated its 20th anniversary at Ultra’s home in Florida. Ever since the first edition of Ultra the organizers tried to expand to new grounds and continents. Ultra Europe, Ultra Korea, Ultra South Africa and many other Ultra events are, like the mother-ship in Miami, top-tier festivals on their continents. Not only had the festival a huge impact on the industry, but also managed to create the RESISTANCE sub-label that is as beloved as Ultra itself.

Started in 2015 at the Argentinian Edition of Ultra in Buenos Aires, Resistance is the place to be for the Techno and Underground fans of Ultra. One of the highlights was definitely the collaboration with Arcadia which brought us the stunning Arcadia Spider stage, one of Ultra’s fan favorites. After hosting Ultra Mexico once before, RESISTANCE is getting its first standalone event in Mexico now. Taking place at the end of May this year in the Club De Golf Teotihuacán, the first wave of artists has been announced already. Fans can look forward to Techno-heavyweights like Maceo Plex, Belgian newcomer Charlotte de Witte and other well-known headliners such as Art Department, The Martinez Brothers, and Nicole Moudaber.

With this first amazing announcement of names, Techno and House fans from across Mexico and Latin America can expect nothing but a breathtaking first edition of RESISTANCE in Mexico. With Mexico City as the kick-off, it is going to be an amazing year for RESISTANCE. Hosting multiple events in cities like Shanghai, Seoul, and Bueno Aires plus the massive summer residency at Privilege Ibiza we can expect the best year of RESISTANCE yet!
