There is nothing more satisfying that hearing an old banger brought back to life in a new form. Often you hear a revamped version of tracks like ‘Rhythm Is A Dancer‘ or ‘Show Me Love‘, but more recently trance classics have been the source for producers. With that in mind, a producer who is no stranger to We Rave You by the name of Axwanging decided he would try his hand at a remake in his own style, taking to Delerium’s track ‘Silence‘ – commonly known through Tiesto‘s In Search Of Sunrise remix – and the end product is quite spectacular.

Released on TurnItUp Muzik, the classic has been given a progressive house twist. Containing the original lyrics sung with passion and energy by Beth Macari, the track begins with smooth piano chords, before the vocals kick in along with a snare. This brings the track to life, and takes it towards the drop in a fluid fashion. When you hear the drop, it’ll come to no surprise that the track has already been supported by the likes of Nicky Romero and Sick Individuals. Combining an abundance of synths with a pumping bass creates an instant festival track, and creates a main stage vibe beyond belief. Axwanging – real name Stephan Barlog – is sure to continue gaining support from DJ’s in their sets, with more support coming in by the day for this incredible track.

Its no surprise that Axwanging has created such a high quality track here with his twist on Delerium’s ‘Silence‘. The German producer has received support in the past from Blasterjaxx, David Guetta, and Hardwell, with the latter releasing Axwanging’s track ‘Vertigo‘ with Roone on Revealed Recordings. Consistency and quality is becoming a huge asset to Barlog’s productions, and continues to prove why he is one of the biggest rising stars in electronic music.
