The Binches bring out Marshmello during their EDC Vegas set

Home Uncategorized The Binches bring out Marshmello during their EDC Vegas set

This years edition of Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas offered many special and unforgettable performances. From all kinds of new IDs from all kinds of different genres to Tiësto’s emotional tribute to Avicii – the 2018 edition of EDC had it all. One of the most surprising yet entertaining moments occurred during The Binches‘ performance.

Playing at EDC for the first time ever, closing the festival on Sunday at the cosmicMEADOW stage, The Binches is an EDM supergroup consisting of Kayzo, Ookay, Yultron, and Dotcom. While the first three artists are widely known for their music under their “real” alias, the alter-ego of the latter, Dotcom, is more successful than all four combined. Of course, we are talking about everyone’s favorite helmeted DJ: Marshmello. Currently at 10th place on the DJ Mag Top 100 list, he is certainly releasing the best music he has ever produced at the moment. However, it was undoubtedly a great experience for Dotcom not having to dress all white and wear a helmet all the time during the The Binches’ set. Nevertheless, the quartet still decided to troll the crowd by bringing out Marshmello while playing one of his biggest hits, ‘Alone’. Even better, it was Dotcom who announced the appearance of Marshmello. Even though it will probably remain a secret who stood-in for Dotcom as Marshmello, it was definitely a fun move by The Binches and amused the crowd.

It is still unknown when fans will get to see one of The Binches’ incredibly rare performances again, but Kayzo, Ookay, Yultron, and especially Marshmello are going to have a busy summer. They all will appear at festivals and clubs around the world, bringing their individual signature sounds to the dancefloor.
