One of Germany’s top clubs, Bootshaus‘ rise has been a worthy story in itself. Now a whisker away from being a Top 10 club on DJ MAG’s global list of Top 100 Clubs, the Cologne based club has seen itself shift from the local Loonyland parties in the early 1990’s to the Hardwell show that took place at the end of 2017. This development, as we previously remarked, has been a great example of how the Bootshaus setup and Loonyland have remained a constant in the changing dynamics of clubbing in western Germany’s cultural hub. And now the club are looking to celebrate 14 years since they shifted to the famous ‘warehouse’ that once housed ships & scraps in Cologne.

While the excitement is itself quite high for the event, the club’s underappreciated knack for landing a stellar line-up week in and week out is set to turn this night into a memorable one. Donning a headlining line-up which consists of names such as Ummet Ozcan, Will Sparks, Jay Hardway, Dave Replay and Shippo, Bootshaus are leaving no stone unturned to raise the roof. Putting up a show of its kind, the club will be featuring music to everyone’s liking with the BLCKBX stage featuring Apashe, Snavs, Emin and Autodrive and a separate stage titled Dreherei by Tonspiel showcasing Mikimoto, MBP, Leon Brooks and Alex Schulz. Assured to be a historic night for Bootshaus and Loonyland’s journey to club stardom in Germany and beyond, it also earmarks a successful year for the Cologne based club on the global scale.
