Quebec-born artist CastNowski has been driving his bass house signature sound to the forefront in recent months, and continues on this positive momentum with the release of his latest EP “Machine-Made Music”. Starting as an unknown artist in 2015, he’s rapidly becoming a staple of the bass/G-House genre with consistent support from some of the world’s biggest artists, including Oliver Heldens, Steve Aoki and Shaun Frank. Whilst his productions undoubtedly have the potential to bring him toward the higher ranks of the electronic music scene, he has also been busy as head of his own record label named Fraudulent Records and the pop label 12th Floor Records.

The four tracks on the “Machine-Made Music” EP are driven by heavy, deep and distorted basslines that bring an underground and industrial vibe to the music, perfectly suited for the atmosphere revolving around his label. Kicking off with “In The Beginning”, it brings together some hauntingly intense synths with some soulful vocals to create a stand out track that is bound to get everybody on the dance floor moving. Whilst similarly, “Break It Down” centres around an intense bass drop that delivers a flurry of heavy electro sounds, packing a serious punch from start to finish. “Never Stop” brings with it an infectious groove together with a heavily distorted bassline that carries all the power and energy throughout. And last but not least we have “Reasons”,  a track rooted in a plucky bass with an impressive percussion arrangement behind it, as CastNowski’s impeccable production skills shine through.

A man whose releases rarely disappoint, this is another dance floor weapon to add to the CastNowski’s growing arsenal of hits. Stream the EP in full below.
