DJ Snake announces new album

After winning the “Best DJ” award in DJ Mag France‘s annual van vote, DJ Snake is adding to his stellar 2018 campaign with the announcement of a new album. While no details have been specified, that hasn’t stopped fans from frantically obsessing over what will be the Frenchman’s 2nd studio album.

Snake started the year off slowly, with his first release of the year, ‘Magenta Riddim‘ coming in late February. Despite this, the track has peaked at #12 on the French charts and #16 on the U.S. Dance charts. ‘Magenta Riddim’ has also generated a great cult following around the world, inspiring remixes and dance videos, including this video from a school in France.

DJ Snake’s debut album, ‘Encore‘ had the best start an artist could ask for. It reached #1 on the U.S. Dance chart, #4 in France and #10 in Australia. In addition to this, the album’s two most successful singles, ‘Middle‘ and ‘Let Me Love You‘amassed a combined 32 platinum certifications across 8 countries. ‘Let Me Love You’ alone reached Diamond status in France. If ‘Encore’ is anything to go by, Snake’s next album is sure to be a worldwide hit!
