“It’s finally out. Hope you like it.” With those accompanying words Norwegian music producer Kenneth Nilsen, better known as K-391, released his highly anticipated collab with Alan Walker titled ‘Ignite‘ yesterday. A little over a year ago, the instrumental version of the track was released, with rumors of a vocal version in the making rapidly spreading. It took a while, but the result was definitely worth waiting for.
For the vocal version of ‘Ignite’, Alan Walker and K-391 turned to multi-talented South Korean singer/songwriter Seungri and Norwegian pop singer Julie Bergan. Seungri is extremely popular in his home country of South Korea as a member of boy band Big Bang, already scoring many number 1 singles there, while Julie Bergan is also on the rise in Norway and far beyond. ‘Ignite’ is simply massive, full of energy with a number of powerful drops. It’s got all the ingredients it needs to become a huge hit anywhere in the world this Spring and Summer.
‘Ignite’ has been released on the newly-established Liquid State label, which is an Asia-based joint venture between Sony Music and Tencent Music Entertainment. Earlier this year, both Alan Walker and Seungri were announced as two of the main ambassadors of the imprint, so it’s great to see the two joining forces on the single. The release of ‘Ignite’ comes with an amazing music video and some jaw-dropping visual effects, which you can check out below.
