Home Uncategorized Martin Garrix and Khalid unveil release date for upcoming collaboration ‘Oceans’

Save the date, because on Friday, June 15th, the new collaboration ‘Oceans‘, between number one DJ in the world Martin Garrix and Khalid, will see the light of day. The official announcement came from Ryan Sampson, the host of SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up.

Rumors of this collaborations started back in October of last year when a fan tweeted at the two superstars, requesting a collaboration between the two of them. Khalid promptly retweeted and Garrix responded, “let’s do it.” In the months following this initial tease, Khalid shared with Billboard that the two had been in the studio to work on music together. Garrix, while on the show with Ryan Sampson, expressed his excitement and revealed that “Oceans” will be ready for fans to experience on Sunday night while at the Billboard Music Awards red carpet.

This is not the first time Khalid joined forces with electronic music producers, as his massive hit with MarshmelloSilence‘ has soared over 500 million plays on Spotify alone. While we still have no clue how this new tune will sound like, we have no doubt the two have taken their time to truly deliver something special. Save the date, as you don’t want to miss out on this one!
