MR.BLACK remixes Swedish House Mafia’s tracks for a stellar tribute

While it has only been a month since his hit track ‘Boomshakalak‘ was released on Revealed Recordings, MR.BLACK is looking in no mood to stop giving back to his fans. Having dished out gifts such as the 2017 mini-mix and a remix for Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s ‘Wakanda‘ under his WARRIORS act, MR.BLACK returns to solo production for a rather unique giveaway track. With Swedish House Mafia‘s grand return to the world of Dance Music, it was not a far-fetched to think that their tracks would also make a return to the mainstream. Adding to that very flavor, Mr.BLACK takes on the legendary trio’s tracks to deliver a tribute track.

Employing his unique production style, MR.BLACK’s rendition of Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Miami 2 Ibiza‘ featuring Tinie Tempah and ‘Antidote‘ featuring Knife Party is a worthy tribute in its own right. Always an uphill task to take on such hits and redeliver with the same fervent, the Israeli producer leaves no stone unturned in order to amalgamate the two tracks into a thumping whole – one which also features snippets from iconic tracks such as ‘We Came, We Raved, We Loved‘ and ‘Don’t You Worry Child‘. A fitting tribute as it is, the remix also earmarks the moment where we find ourselves pondering over an intention among producers to return to the old style of production.
