Oliver Heldens reveals musical influences in Hï Ibiza interview
One of the most personable and entertaining characters in modern dance music right now is undoubtedly, Oliver Heldens. The Dutch producer makes us all laugh on his Snapchat and Instagram posts on a regular basis thanks to his wacky sense of humour, and football abilities.
But displaying a more serious side in a video interview with Hï Ibiza, Oliver spoke on a number of topics, including his key musical influences, where he praised the likes of Julio Bashmore, Disclosure, and the UK deep house movement, as well as his admiration for Chocolate Puma.
Heldens, who will be performing at the club all summer as part of his Cream Ibiza residency, also spoke about how he feels a very strong dislike towards big egos and arrogance, but found time to discuss lighter topics too, such as his love for popular animated series, ‘Rick & Morty.’
You can watch the full interview below, and grab your tickets to Oliver Heldens’ Cream Ibiza performances here from the official Hï Ibiza website.
