Swedish House Mafia indicate Nike merchandise collaboration

The typical black t-shirt look that was often a go-to for DJs is quickly becoming a thing of the past. Image has developed into a priority for performers across the world, with a number of DJs gaining extra press based on their unique appearance. Whether it be Marshmello or deadmau5 with their headgear, Don Diablo with his custom made clothing, or Oliver Heldens‘ range of funky shirts, the appearance of producers certainly doesn’t go unnoticed, along with the merchandise that replicates it. A trio that have more recently gained particular attention with regard to their clothing is Swedish House Mafia.

Prior to their reunion show at Ultra Music Festival in March, a number of clues were dotted around social media, including some SHM labelled merchandise from Palm Angels – the brand that Axwell Λ Ingrosso often wear. You may also remember that a particular pair of shoes worn by the trio during their performance, which also featured as part of the teasers before the show. Those very shoes, created by Nike, have now re-appeared via the social media accounts owned by SHM members Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello.

With these recent teasers, the pair appear to be indicating that the collaboration between SHM and Nike is on. Another image has surfaced, showing what appears to be the finished product.

Though no confirmation has come directly from either Swedish House Mafia or Nike, the mysterious Swedes have provided very little evidence prior to announcements that have happened previously. Their merchandise store appeared almost out of the blue after social media posts advertised the 03.25.18 store, so don’t expect much warning from Nike or SHM about these trainers. Though the design would appear simple, it is predicted that the price of the shoes – should they be released – won’t be cheap. Updates on the collaborative merchandise will follow should anything be confirmed by either Swedish House Mafia or Nike.
