We AM & Sheezan – Don’t Know Me
One of India’s fastest rising producers, Sheezan is back with his latest single ‘Don’t Know Me‘ alongside Swiss duo We AM. With both acts’ last few productions boasting a more Electro-House influence, their latest single takes a stride down tribal house lane.
Following the standard 30-second intro, the track immediately enters the build-up and wastes no time in moving towards the drop. At the 1-minute mark, listeners are met with thumping tribal drums, a booming kick and bright hats & claps to help fill out the frequency spectrum.
The break provides a great contrast between itself and the drop, as low-passed lead synth chords and a pluck-synth melody gradually ascend their way toward the energetic breakdown. As the drop arrives once again, a blaring wide-panned synth adds fullness and chaos to the track’s in-your-face nature.
While Sheezan has enjoyed the success from tracks such as ‘Takedown‘ and ‘Superfly‘, We AM have been on a tear of their own. Having boasted 2 successful records on Dannic‘s Fonk Recordings last year, the duo returned to the eminent label with a collaboration alongside Tom & Jame titled, ‘Zone‘. In celebration of the track’s release, the two acts took over Fonk Radio for a very special edition!
