Zedd and Maren Morris perform ‘The Middle’ live in Las Vegas

Zedd gave his fans who attended his show at OMNIA Las Vegas a big surprise when one of America’s biggest country stars Maren Morris joined him on stage to perform their number one hit single in collaboration with Grey ‘The Middle’.

Zedd was happy to announce this was the first time the two were performing the track live together even though it has been playing on the radio and in shows relentlessly over the past few months. The crowd reacted amazingly with the OMNIA Nightclub dance floor singing along to the lyrics together with Maren Morris and Zedd.

Maren Morris was definitely not performing in a usual setting for her as she took the stage at 2:30 am in front of 2000 passionate electronic dance music fans. Her performance however successfully won them over and left her excited, as she later took to Twitter to post pictures of the performance and stated:

“Zedd, you throw a damn good party!”

She also spoke about the performance itself saying it was the

“first time hearing the song this loud.”

‘The Middle’ was released in late January, so it seems difficult to think that this was the first time they were able to perform it to a live audience for the first time, however, we all know how artists of this calibre can have incredibly busy schedules. After performing at the ACMs and celebrating the release of ‘Rich’, Maren Morris also got married in March and also announced soon afterwards that she is heading into the studio to record her sophomore album.

‘The Middle’ is currently at no. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Since its debut earlier this year, the track has been on the chart for the past 12 weeks.
