ADE 2018 reveal first line-up announcement
Every year, the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) grows ever bigger and broader. In 2018, it will welcome more than 2,500 artists and 550 speakers from around the world to educate and entertain in more than 160 venues and locations. Dance parties and performances take the city day and night, and as the electronic music genre expands into pop and hip-hop markets, so, too, do the genres represented as part of ADE’s official programming.
The expansion continues in 2018, and today, the first handful of artists is announced. Prepare for performances from Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Nicky Romero, Claptone, Maceo Plex and many more.
“We’re almost at the point of reaching the magical 400,000 visitors mark, and we still see lots of opportunities to grow,” director Richard Zijlma is quoted in a press release.
“ADE aims to be a world stage for musical talent and the music industry. With visitors from more than 100 countries now you can confidently claim that Amsterdam is truly the beating heart of the worldwide music industry during ADE, while being at the same time a breading ground for cultural and technological innovation for five days and nights.”
The Amsterdam Dance Event returns to wreak beautiful beat-driven havok on the Netherlands’ capital Wednesday to Sunday, Oct. 17 to 21. Check the full first round of artists on the lineup below and visit ADE online for details and more information.
