Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa – One Kiss (Oliver Heldens Remix)

One of the most likeable and entertaining characters in modern dance music right now is no doubt, Oliver Heldens. The Dutch DJ and producer has established himself after his massive release ‘Gecko’ in 2014, launching his label Heldeep Records, posting multiple viral videos and collaborating with some of the biggest artists in the industry whilst always remaining humble and an all round nice guy.

He has also been the latest to add to the impressive catalogue of artists to remix Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa‘s hit single ‘One Kiss’. After hearing interpretations from the likes of Jauz and Zhu, fans can now appreciate Dua Lipa’s infectious vocal performance reinterpreted through Oliver Heldens’ signature bass sound combined with organic elements. Creating a versatile track we can expect to hear time and time again this summer.

Calvin Harris has been one of the biggest artists in the scene for many years now and has proven himself through consistently releasing chart topping music. Dua Lipa is only the latest of an impressive catalogue of pop stars who have worked with the Scottish DJ, singer, songwriter, and producer. This includes the likes of Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry, Future, Rihanna, Ellie Goulding and many others. This is truly impressive given his young age and confirms his immense talent in the studio.

Oliver Heldens has also been doing well this year, after releasing his latest party stomper track ‘King Kong’ right in time for Miami Music Week, he was able to keep up the momentum with this impressive remix. He has also been achieving important milestones with his imprint Heldeep Records, recently celebrating 200 episodes of Heldeep Radio and gaining support from Martin Garrix on the latest release ‘Bottle‘ by Murat Salman. He has also been in the news after tweeting he would like to create a track honour of the late Avicii, something we would all look forward to hearing.

I feel like writin a song about Avicii, but I don’t wanna disrespect anyone at the same time, so it’s prob gonna be some prog house, cause that’s Avicii to me: the best melodies. I just dislike when people milk shit out like toothpaste in a small tube , some point it’s finished:(
