Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa’s ‘One Kiss’ tops two dance/electronic charts
Scottish music producer Calvin Harris’ track ‘One Kiss‘ with singer Dua Lipa is sitting at the top of not one but two Billboard charts as the pair of artists enjoy success with their production. The track, which was released earlier this year, has climbed its way to the number one spot on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs and Dance/Mix Show Airplay.
‘One Kiss’ is the fifth chart-topper in Dance Club Songs for both Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa, and is now Harris’ 19th hit to enter the chart since his irresistible banger ‘Bounce‘ with Kelis entered back in 2011. Calvin is chasing down Rhianna on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart and the music producer now one hit away from matching the singer’s record of 12 topper hits in the chart.
For both the Scotsman and English singer, ‘One Kiss’ has certainly taken off since its release, proving to be a track that is destined to be a summer mainstay. So far ‘One Kiss’ is just short of 100 million views on YouTube while having clocked up over 220 million plays on Spotify. The track has also been remixed by electronic dance music talents such as Jauz, ZHU, and most recently by Dutch sensation Oliver Heldens, you can hear the remix here.
