The Chainsmokers will mash-up their music with all-time classics

The Chainsmokers, one of the hottest  EDM artists at the moment, are back at it again. After the Americans boosted through the DJ Mag Top 100 list all the way to the 6th place, things only got better. Their highly successful album ‘Memories… Do not Open’ featuring hits like ‘Paris’ and ‘Something Just Like This’ and the world tour that followed, only cemented the status of The Chainsmokers. After the two US boys just delivered out a very special guest during one of their shows in Las Vegas, the next news regarding the duo is also nothing short of amazing.

The Chainsmokers are going to play a one-time-only show at the Hollywood Palladium on July 24th as part of the ‘Pepsi Generations Summer Music Campaign’. Other than just playing their own music during one of the duo’s show, at this event, The Chainsmokers are going to mash-up their music together with the amazing creations of legendary musicians. The list of names includes music from acts like Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, Brittney Spears. and Beyonce.

Both, Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart, the men behind The Chainsmokers, have expressed their thoughts about this amazing event. Pall said:

“We’re kind of nervous. But lucky for us, they have endless amount of songs that are extremely popular that people love to hear. We just have to figure out how to mix everything in. I think it’ll be a cool experience for us. We don’t get to play a lot of Ray Charles at our shows.”

Taggart already fuels the expectations of the fans:

“We’re doing something we really never had a chance to do, which makes performing and making music exciting. This is a really great opportunity for us to do that. It’s a long list of people we get to choose from that has made some of the most important music of our generation — two generations.”
