Dash Berlin’s health concerns increase as he cancels another festival appearance
Fans of legendary DJ and producer group Dash Berlin were left concerned earlier in May when Jeffrey Sutorius, Dash Berlin frontman and DJ, announced he would not be joining Armin van Buuren in Poland for A State of Trance 850 due to health concerns. We had not heard from the artist or his management since and hoped that all was going to return to normal. However concern is beginning to grow due to the social media silence and the announcement that Dash Berlin will no longer perform the Solstice Stage at the Spring Awakening Music Festival. There’s been no word to fans regarding the remainder of Dash’s tour dates, nor his actual condition.
After last year’s success, the Spring Awakening Music festival returns to Chicago to bring the biggest artists and best music with a massive lineup on the Solstice main stage, featuring the likes of Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Hardwell, Kaskade, Steve Aoki and Tiësto share top billing honors. They are joined by the likes of 3lau, Getter, Sam Feldt, Seven Lions, Slander and Tritonal. It is surely a shame that fans will not be able to hear another strong trance set from Dash Berlin and we wish Jefferey Sutorius a speedy recovery.
Due to health issues, we regret to inform that @DashBerlin is not able to come to the show this Sunday. He is sorry to disappoint you and would have loved to come and see you all! We wish him all the best!
We will announce his replacement in The Middle of Saturday morning ?

Jeffrey Sutorius was set to return to A State Of Trance with a special ‘Classics Set‘ at the 850 celebrations in Poland earlier in the week. His last performance was at A State of Trance 650 in Utrecht back in 2014, hence there was plenty of anticipation and excitement for the performance. Although the group is fronted by Sutorius, Dash Berlin is actually formed of 3 members. Working alongside Eelke Kalberg and Sebastian Molijn since around 2006, the trio have been responsible for some of trance musics most iconic modern hits, with a catalogue full or successful releases such as ‘Till The Sky Falls Down‘ and ‘Waiting‘.
