Since their formation back in 1998, British virtual band Gorillaz has become one of the most iconic and unique bands in their own right, consistently dropping tracks across the years as they dominated with huge chart success. Their Demon Days album in 2005 which featured instantly recognisable hits such as ‘Dirty Harry‘ and the track ‘Dare‘ debuted at the number one spot on the UK Albums Chart. While the band can celebrate reaching a landmark 20th year – two decades in the music business, Gorillaz has just released a new collaboration with American rapper Snoop Dogg from their upcoming album.

Titled ‘Hollywood‘, the collaboration, which features Snoop and American music artist Jamie Principle is the latest track to be shared by the band from their upcoming album ‘The Now Now‘. The track is a must have and ready to draw upon the band’s success of churning out certified chart hits around the world. With a mean bassline, smart synth design and Snoop’s vocals, ‘Hollywood’ will no doubt be racking up the plays and stream count in no time at all. The track follows on after the band released a string of productions from the upcoming album which already includes ‘Lake Zurich‘, ‘Humility‘, ‘Fire Flies‘ and ‘Sorcererz‘.

This weekend, Gorillaz debut their album ‘The Now Now’, live from Tokyo, Japan, during a Boiler Room stream. For sure this is one stream you will want to be tuning into this weekend. Check out ‘Hollywood’ now and get grooving with Gorillaz below.
