Hardwell & Wildstylez (feat. KiFi) – Shine A Light

Iconic Dutch producer Hardwell and fellow returning Dutch talent Wildstylez come together to provide a new hardstyle imprint, ‘Shine A Light‘, on Revealed Recordings. The tune, which premiered as Hardwell’s last track during his Ultra Miami set this year, arrives just in time for the heated summer festival season. The mega producer exemplifies his willingness to continue to develop and diversify his Revealed Recordings outfit by continually bringing new styles and sounds to the equation. Not only does he bring new styles to Revealed, but he also consistently finds a way to uncover new and old talents as well.

Joram Metekohy AKA Wildstylez is a notable artist in the hardstyle community. Wildstylez has been a heavy hitter since back in 2008, teaming up on several collaborations with fellow hardstyle influentials including Headhunterz, Noisecontrollers, Max Enforcer and D-Block & S-te-Fan. On top of the fellow Dutch mans obvious hand in the track’s ambiance, KiFi’s soaring top-line all but solidifies the tracks upbeat and driving atmosphere. The 30 year old vocalist and writer probably has more success off the mic than on surprisingly – working with top talents such as Icona Pop, Pitbull, B.o.B, The Wanted and more. The talented Dutch star even possesses sole writing credit for Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s newest tune featuring Wiz Khalifa, ‘When I Grow Up‘ as well as both a co-writer and producer role on Galantis’ global hit ‘Hunter‘. ‘Shine A Light‘ is a pounding rhythmic tune which features scattered vocal bursts and fire charged synths that create an unmatched fusion for summer dance floor domination. The smooth piano underlying building opening synth lines aren’t a clear indication ‘Shine A Light‘ is a hardstyle track from the get go, however the tune delivers whilst it develops towards its climax, and is worth a listen whether you’re a clear-cut hardstyle fan or not.
