Hï Ibiza and Solardo launch DJ talent search competition
Hï Ibiza and influential Manchester duo Solardo today reveal a competition to support new DJ talent as they look for Ibiza’s next rising star. The winner of the competition, which will be judged by Solardo, will be given the opportunity to warm up for the duo each week at their new residency at Hï Ibiza, giving them a platform most up and coming DJs can only dream of.
Solardo’s 12-week residency runs from July 10th – September 25th and while Eric Prydz, Cristoph and Camelphat play in the Theatre each week, Solardo will take over the Hï Ibiza Club where the winner will open the show for them each week of the residency. They will have the opportunity to play alongside some of the world’s most talked about names including Mason Maynard, Lauren Lane, Monki, Huxley, Secondcity, Pirate Copy, Dense & Pika, Pirupa and many more.
Solardo are one of the hottest names in house music right now. Back in 2017, the globe-trotting duo served up some hugely memorable sets at Hï Ibiza and pulled in big crowds who were desperate for their piece of the action. The taste-making pair run their own Sola label and have also released their infectious brand of house on labels like Hot Creations and the mighty Relief Records, so bring with them super fresh sounds and plenty of new energy.
For your chance to play alongside some of the world’s biggest acts at Ibiza’s newest and most exciting club Hï Ibiza, upload a 45 minute mix with competition art to your Soundcloud and send the link to [email protected]. Three contestants will be chosen to appear at Hï on either 4th OR 6th July, where one person will be chosen to open the club room for 12 consecutive Tuesday’s from 10th July – 25th September.
