Kairym – Ahankar

Indian producer Kairym makes his debut on Zee Music Company with his first original release entitled “Ahankar”. Having released various unofficial remixes for the likes of Martin Garrix and Alan Walker, he now switches his focus to original productions in impressive fashion as he brings his unique trap sound to the forefront by adding a distinctively Indian vibe to the popular genre.

In similar fashion to Hasit Nanda, the talented musician began his musical journey by making YouTube piano covers of popular dance songs, earning thousands of views by remaking artists such as Alesso, Yellow Claw and Cash Cash. Combining both melody and sound design skills throughout, Kairym takes listeners on a cultural ride through some of India’s most beautiful harmonic sounds, underpinning it with a heavy bassline that makes it club friendly. With the growth in Indian-influenced dance music being driven by the likes of KSHMR and Jai Wolf in recent years, Kairym looks to add his name to the list as he becomes the latest artist to explore the crossover between EDM and Hindi sounds.
