An artist who has retained his signature style over the years, Norwegian superstar Kygo has released his fair share of exciting collaborations. Yesterday, he hinted at yet another huge collaboration, revealing a picture of him posing next to American band Imagine Dragons. Naturally, fans around the world soon began speculating around a collaboration and exactly how it would sound.

Although Kygo hasn’t released many tracks so far this year, quality definitely overcomes quantity in his case. A few months ago, his collaboration with Miguel, ‘Remind Me to Forget‘, became a fan favourite overnight, racking up 136 million Spotify streams. Last year, Kygo released a huge number of singles as well as an album and an EP, his releases included a number of high-profile collaborations with artists such as Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding and U2. Similarly, Imagine Dragons shot to fame through their unique style, fusing pop with rock to create iconic anthems such as ‘Radioactive‘, ‘Demons‘, ‘Thunder‘ and ‘Believer‘, each of which surpassed 600 million Spotify streams.

Even though a collaboration has not been officially announced, the image posted by Kygo clearly hints that the artists are due to team up on a single. No details are known about the track itself, but with such prominent artists involved, it seems likely to be destined for chart success.
