Marshmello – Reverse (feat G-Eazy & Vic Mensa)
Best known for his massive radio hits like ‘Silence’ and ‘Friends‘ with the likes of Khalid and Anne-Marie, American DJ Marshmello first hit the headlines thanks to his unique trap productions, as he remixed tracks for the likes of Skrillex and Diplo. But in recent times, the Mellogang have seen their leader take a new twist in his musical direction.
Despite telling fans that his new Joytime II album is currently ‘in production’, Marshmello’s latest track is actually a straight-up hip-hop anthem; a far cry from that sweet signature future bass sound that fans love so dearly. ‘Reverse’ is a track made with Vic Mensa and G-Eazy and proves that Mello is a highly multifaceted artist.
Establishing himself as one of the biggest EDM producers in the world, take a listen below and let us know if Marshmello has a potential future career in hip-hop!
