Mat Zo – Bad Posture
Mat Zo, has returned, delivering a huge new release. Over the weekend, he posted a groovy track named ‘Bad Posture‘ onto his SoundCloud. A soulful house track that takes listeners back to the sound of the 90s whilst combining a funky, fresh vibe to it, ‘Bad Posture’ is the lead single from his forthcoming three-track ‘This Is a Mad Zoo House EP‘. Talking about the release on his twitter, Mat Zo explained the interesting story behind the track title.
“This track is called ‘Bad Posture’ because my girlfriend kept coming in and telling me to sit up straight while I was working on it”
Mat Zo is definitely spreading a positive, playful vibe across his project, from these friendly social media interactions with his fans through to his music. ‘Bad Posture’ resembles Daft Punk’s early works, dominated by captivating chord progressions inspired by electro house and, most importantly, a constant funk fell throughout the arrangement. Each component provides a playful energy that which will make you feel as if you are walking down the sunny streets of LA.
Mat Zo has also been in the news recently after playing a banging 5-hour set at Williamsburg’s Output Nightclub venue, entertaining the packed night club with his loud and bass-filled house music until the early hours of the morning. He has definitely proven himself as one of the most consistent and versatile artist in the scene, being able to play a variety of different sets adapting to a wide range of crowds. This is also true of him in the studio having previously been successful releasing emotional and euphoric trance music .
