Having dropped one of his first singles on Hardwell‘s label Revealed Records in 2011 and his hugely successful Gravity EP in 2013, Haiti born music tastemaker Michael Brun has enjoyed plenty of success since. Naturally gifted with an ear for electronic music, the 26-year-old has been showcasing his talent of blending EDM genres such as progressive house with his native Haitian styles rara and kompa. While the music producer continues to deliver his musical excellence, Michael is back to entice electronic dance music lovers alike with two brand new productions and once again show why he is one of the worlds best music producers on the scene.

Brun brings the summer vibes in two straight up fantastic tracks destined for endless replays in the sunshine. Talking with Billboard, Michael says the two tracks are the:

“first in a series of releases highlighting the sounds and textures of different cities around the world. Both these songs came together so naturally and sonically felt like a representation of the cities they were based on.”

The first track called ‘Jalouzi‘ has already caught the attention of industry heavyweights having earned itself a position in Diplo‘s Boiler Room set. Perfectly encapsulating endless energy, ‘Jalouzi‘ is a drum-driven production complete with swift vocals and a vibrant character that will leave you shaking your hips back and forth. The second track from Brun leads with its silky smooth vibe and it is called ‘Soweto‘. The music producer portrays his production capabilities in this track with its comfy bassline and soothing vocals from the velvety voice of music artist Shirazee.

Both tracks from Michael Brun are a must for any playlist this summer ready to lay down the groove wherever and whenever. We can’t wait to see what else the blend specialist has in store for his fans, as no doubt he will be dropping more tracks as part of this series in the coming months.
