In just four short years, Tyler Marenyi has become one of the most prominent bass producers on the electronic scene under his alias NGHTMRE. As his career continues to blossom the 27-year-old has already earned himself a huge following due to his consistent and hugely enticing original track releases such as ‘Gud Vibrations‘ and remixes including his rework ofFlosstradamus & Smokepurpp’s trap hit ‘MVP. While it has been relatively quiet for the American producer in recent months with original productions, NGHTMRE is back and delivering the goods with a two-track EP called ‘Magic Hour‘ as he teams up with fellow American, rapper, and rising star Pell.

‘Magic Hour’ EP gets the best of two worlds as bass music meets hip-hop. The first track on the EP is party-ready ‘Swiss‘, a smooth track benefiting from the sleek and polished vocals of Pell, driven by its warming melody and a powerful percussive bassline that hits all the correct spots. ‘Swiss‘ is the perfect choice to kickstart your playlist or party. Perhaps though, if you are looking to unwind then ‘Lights Low‘ is for you and the second exciting track on this EP. Yet again, Pell’s crisps vocals work effortlessly on the tracks soft tempo beat as the soothing melody takes over the listener. Calm and content, the family-friendly ‘Lights Low‘ will leave you feeling refreshed.

Both Tyler and Pell prove a formidable duo in the studio with both ‘Swiss‘ and ‘Lights Low‘ testament of their production abilities. for NGHTMRE, his summer is up and running, and following the release of ‘Magic Hour’ EP, it can only get better from here on. ‘Magic Hour’ has arrived on Diplo‘s Mad Decent label and its ready for your listening enjoyment. Check it out the brilliance of NGHTMRE and Pell below and let us know in the comments your thoughts of the EP.
