Untold & Neversea continue successful Blood Network Campaign

Home Uncategorized Untold & Neversea continue successful Blood Network Campaign

Entering its fourth year, Romania’s biggest electronic music festivals Untold Festival and Neversea Festival have mobilized over 6.000 donors for their Blood Network Campaign. Donors, in exchange for this voluntary act, can receive discounted or even free access to two of the biggest festivals in Eastern Europe.

You might ask why such network was established. Romania is ranked among the bottom-most countries in Europe in terms of blood voluntary donations and because of that, there’s a lasting lack of blood transfusions in the country. Being a very serious problem, and one that people care about, Untold Festival & Neversea Festival teamed up and discussed a way to help solve this issue.

The Blood Network currently has over 6.000 members and that number has been increasing every year since its inception. Festival-goers literally have the chance now to save lives while having fun and dancing together, while helping Romania on its mission to help solve this issues and make the country a better place. Once the network will reach 10.000 people, the festivals plan to open up their network and make it available to the Romanian government. Each person will be notified of a shortage in donor blood per location and blood type whenever necessary.

The Blood Network campaign will run until June 29th at all permanent locations in the country as well as mobile caravans in Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest, Iasi, Timisoara, Brasov, and Constanta.
